I am the only British worker in Student Works and I come from a background of financial services and recruitment. Over the past 8 years I have worked in recruiting for schools, universities and businesses all across the UK with the help of great staff and business partnerships inside and outside of the UK.
I welcome anyone to the UK who is looking to study or work here and overall improve their English language at the same time.
Here in the UK we benefit from some great beaches and I am fortunate enough to have grown up in Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth being my two hometowns, with great beaches for me to enjoy when we have a Summer. Yes in the UK it is more of a joke the Summers that we have compared to other countries in the world but we make the most of the sunny days here when we have them, with BBQ’s, water sports, picnics etc…
We also have a lot of rain here and this is my least favorite weather in the UK so be prepared to get wet and always have an umbrella with you.
I love animals and have a cat, I also work out and I am part of a women’s only kick boxing group where I go twice a week, I love cars and would have a garage full of fast cars if I had the money and the space, I also love food but usually not British food, Thai, Italian, Moroccan are my favorite.
I decided to work helping students and workers come to the UK as I like helping people to achieve their goals and improve themselves, I also think that learning English is very important in this world as it is spoken in so many countries now and it gives you many more opportunities outside of the UK if you want to venture and see more of the world.
